Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of PlansPilot (the “Service”) operated at planspilot.com. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

Who can use PlansPilot

You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation to these Terms.

Your account

Keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly at security@planspilot.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

Your content

You retain all rights to the design briefs, floor plans, 3D models, drawings, and other content you upload or generate (“Your Content”). You grant PlansPilot a limited license to host, process, display, and export Your Content solely to provide the Service to you and the collaborators you invite.

AI outputs — advisory only

Floor plans, drawings, structural guidance, MEP layouts, renders, and cost estimates produced by PlansPilot are preliminary and advisory. A licensed architect, structural and MEP engineer, and your local building authority must review every design before it is used for construction. PlansPilot is not a substitute for professional judgement or a building permit.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for anything unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or that infringes third-party rights.
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service or attempt to bypass authentication or rate limits.
  • Upload content you do not have the right to use, or content that violates privacy or intellectual property law.
  • Use the Service to generate designs intended to endanger life or property.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. Fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law. Usage limits for each plan are described on the pricing page and may change with notice.

Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that pose a security or legal risk. On termination, projects follow the retention rules in our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. PlansPilot does not warrant that generated designs are complete, buildable, code-compliant, or free of errors.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PlansPilot and its suppliers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or construction costs, arising from your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim will not exceed the amounts you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
